The New Cat

So this is the new cat, Grace. It had been raining black cats at the shelter where we got her, and the odds were we'd be taking home one black furball.

Beware of Cat

When playing with a cat that likes to use it's teeth and claws, it's probably a good idea to not use your bare hands.

These are the scratchesgouges that Spike gave me today:

Spike's Work

Of course, I really do know better, having been around cats all my life.

Ah well, they should be fine by next week.

More Cat Pictures

I put up more pictures of spike in his gallery. Most of these are from around christmastime 2005.

He gets everywhere. I just wish I had my camera ready more often.

More Pictures — Yay!

I've put up another gallery of pictures: this one contains images I took last winter when the Moncton City hall fountain froze up. You can view the pictures here.

Cats - Part II

After rooting through my collection of pictures, I've also posted some pictures of my former cat, Gizmo, who died a few years ago :(

She was an interesting tortoiseshell/calico mix, and would always be found sleeping in the strangest of places. The source of the name? Presumably because she was the same colour as the character of the same name from the Gremlins movies.

Cats…

I've finally had the opportunity to put up some pictures of my cat, Spike. Gus did this earlier and that gallery includes several more impressive shots, including the matrix cat shot.

Spike

Gus has some pictures of my cat up that he took while he was here. I must admit, he beat me to the punch, but that's likely because I've been too busy with other things.

riding on a ferry

I've got some pics up in my gallery that I took on the ferry ride over to dartmouth to catch the library book sale. Note that currently, the files have no description: I will be remedying this tomorrow. I'll also be finishing up a half-edited blog post about it as well.

Update: April 29, 2005: I've added descriptions to the pictures. - ws

Dance-Dance-Revolution

apparently it's a craze in Japan. I've run into it recently, and it is very fun. For those of you in halifax you can try it out at the Mic-Mac Mall arcade for the price of a couple of bucks.

Immediately after we tried this (see the three pics in the DDR gallery) we ran down to EB on the lowest level, grabbed DDR Max 2 and a pair of beat pads, then came back to play it. Needless to say by the end of the night we were all exhausted.
